Advocate for Community Service: Matthew Baird of Stoughton

The administration and staff at Coyle and Cassidy High School were instrumental in encouraging the concept of community service. The school offered many opportunities for students to volunteer for local charities and not-for-profit organizations. Matthew Baird of Stoughton was eager to take part in many volunteer efforts.

He was a Teen Life participant in a program sponsored by the Immaculate Conception Church. Matthew Baird of Stoughton worked with the Stoughton Youth Athletic Commission as a volunteer. He spent time visiting with residents of the Copley Center Nursing Home. Matthew Baird of Stoughton was a valued volunteer with the Stoughton Recreation Department.
